Our story has twists, distance, and a lot of pizza. We met on Instagram when I (Jeanine) mentioned wanting to live in Portland and connected with Brian as friends. On a whim I flew out to meet him in person and we immediately hit it off, beginning a 3.5‑year long‑distance relationship. In August 2019 Violet and I finally moved to Portland and we all settled into our green house with Brian. The next two years were a blur because of COVID, but many homemade pizzas and margaritas later, we packed up and moved to San Diego at the end of 2021 for a change of pace. As a family we decided to move back to Portland; Brian returned first for work and we followed shortly after. In 2025 we purchased our first home together.
